Introducing our ALL NEW range of family friendly classes for 2012. Our Kids/Teens classes are suitable for girls and boys aged 10-14 years and run in School Terms only (generally 10 weeks). Classes are only available on the  Central Coast  at this stage - but if you'd like to see them in your area, please contact us and let us know!

These specialised 60 minute circus style classes are particularly appealing to students who are not interested in traditional sports or are looking for an after-school activity which is a bit different and more creative.   Not only will your child/teen learn some new, fun skills, but these classes also encourage:

* Improved self-confidence and self-esteem
* Better hand-eye co-ordination
* Increased strength and flexibility
* Improved balance and well-being
* Learning how to work as part of a team
* A better understanding of others


POLE MONKEYZ
- is specifically for juniors aged 10-14 years. Based on Chinese Pole with no dance or exotic content, this gymnastic/acro style class teaches correct pole technique and safety, climbs and inverts. This is a tricks only class with no dance or exotic content.

AERIAL (Juniors/Teens)   - Get ready to take flight.
In this course we will be using both Silks (Tissu) and Lyra (Hoop) which will help you build strength, learn correct technique for climbes, lift and wraps as well as several neat tricks!

HULA HOOPING We probably all had one as a kid, but now the humble Hula Hoop has made a triumphant return....as a fun way to get fit! Did you know that Hooping works over 30 core muscles, improves balance, flexibility, dexterity and co-ordination, tones and reshapes the abdomen, buttocks and legs AND provides another great fitness alternative to people of all ages - not to mention it's an awesome party trick!


STREET CIRCUS
- Under the guidance of  instructor and professional Street Performer, "Deadly Serious", the students have the opportunity to have fun learning new and interesting skills in a safe and non-competitive environment!

  ART OF POI - 'Poi' is the Maori word for 'ball' on a cord. Poi is a form of juggling where the balls are swung around the body. From it's beginnings Poi had the purpose of enhancing dance and rhythm. It was soon realised that Poi swinging had several other benefits from wrist strength, flexability and improving co-ordination to name a few. And like all performance arts you are only limited by your imagination.
